Chameleon Solutions LTD (CSL) was established in 2012 with a strong vision of green energy and efficiency being one and the same thing. Over the years the company expanded from just 2 staff to 43 carfully chosen staff. With each staff well trained in workmanship standards and their specific skillset, combined with excellent quality tested products and international patners, CSL has aimed and continues to aim to specialise in solutions that work well for long term only with minimal disposables, and highest efficiencies. Living with long term solutions, sustainable resources and with support of continuous R&D are the key to success that has made us one of the largest renewable enrgy companies in East Africa

2012 - ESTABLISHMENT
Establishment as a sole proprietorship to fill the need for higher quality solar heaters and shed clarity on an otherwise confusing solar power industry
2014 - NEW 10 EMPLOYEES
New 10 employees working diligently, CSL ties up with 3 Turkish companies to modify products to better suit the Kenyan market
2015 - ENTER INTO SOUTH SUDAN
Enter in to South Sudan market and launch of Heat-pumps after extensive testing in to Kenya
2016 - MERGE WITH SOUTHERN SHIELD OF COMPANIES
50% merger with Southern Shield Group of Companies sees large injection of industrial engineering expertise and capital
2018 - REAL ESTATE EXCELLENCE AWARDS
CSL starts to win awards in the solar heating industry and hospitality industry. Radisson Blu, Serena, Best Western, Hilton are on the portfolio as large centralised hot water systems completed along with 1000s of domestic systems.
2019 - LAUNCH OF LARGE SCALE SOLAR PV
Launch of large scale solar PV department and dedicated aftersales department and hotline.
2020 - OVER 50 EMPLOYEES IN 3 COUNTRIES
Over 50 Employees in 3 countries, primarily Kenya. East Congo team is formed.
2022 - FLAGSHIP SHOWROOM
Flagship showrooms in the Sarit Centre Nairobi and in Nanyuki open up
2023 - PARTNERSHIP
Partnership with severap financing institutions to provide affordable and ethical lending to clients who want to go green. CSL at 71 staff has done over 10,000,000 Litres of heated water and 20MW of solar Power with several flagship projects around East Africa. A strong focus on aftersales and sustainable growth remains on the agenda.
